Still Incarcerated - Day 221

Its January 25, 2010 and there is no update other than Steve is still in the Cobb County jail (221 days and counting).

At least its a good start for 2010 as Steve has not been able to con anyone (at least that anyone knows of).

Steve Pannell (a.k.a. Steve Grier) arrested in Cobb County

It has been confirmed that Steve Pannell was arrested Thursday, June 18th at BB&T Bank in Cobb County, Georgia and is denied bail as a "Fugitive from Justice". He is also facing new charges of "Fraud by Deception". Pannell has been living in Jacksonville and St. Augustine Florida under the alias names Steve Greer and Steve Drummond. All authorities with outstanding warrants have been notified of his arrest. Federal authorities have been involved and are investigating the real possibility of federal charges.

More warrants

Steve Pannell or Steve Coffey (as he's now introducing himself) is still at large, however three new felony warrants in two counties have been issued for his arrest. He still refuses to make his whereabouts known but the authorities are working to track his location.

Condolences

There have been updates regarding Steve, however there has been a death in the Pannell family so any updates can wait. I offer my sincerest condolences to the family members for their loss.

We consider this blog a Public Service Announcement and just good advice. Don't pay for any services until they are actually provided.

There are outstanding warrants for Steve's arrest in multiple states. I'm not a lawyer but keep this in mind....If you are helping Steve you may be in violation of the law yourself for harboring a fugitive

The walls are closing in on Steve Coffey

There have been new developments concerning Steve Pannell who is now using the alias Steve Coffey. Pannell or Coffey as he's referred is being tracked by several bounty hunters and is of serious interest to the local police. Resources from all obvious and not so obvious avenues are being pulled together to find Steve.

If you have given this man any money you will not receive a dime after you are conned. He will stall you and tell you what you want to hear but he WILL NOT actually give you anything. NADA. ZILCH. The only way you can possibly get your money back is by turning him in. If you have had any contact with Steve Coffey please contact tiffanyseltzer@comcast.net.
